CMC's trading division executes the full chain — sourcing, financing, freight, clearing and distribution — across three core sectors. Our customers are wholesalers, retailers, processors and industrial buyers who need a counterparty that delivers.

01 — Commodities

Agricultural commodities, minerals and metals.

Our commodities desk originates and trades bulk goods across the SADC region. We work with producers, cooperatives, processors and industrial buyers to move tonnage on terms that pay — both ways.

02 — FMCG distribution

Imports, retail supply and branded goods.

We distribute fast-moving consumer goods through a network of warehouses and last-mile partners across Zambia and into neighbouring markets. Brand owners and retailers use CMC to access the regional shelf without standing up their own distribution.

03 — Industrial supply

Equipment, construction inputs and B2B supply.

We supply mining operators, construction firms and industrial manufacturers with capital equipment, consumables and engineered inputs. Procurement is run as a structured process with clear lead times and accountable counterparties.

Financing & logistics

Trade finance lines drawn, freight booked, clearing and warehousing arranged. We orchestrate the moving parts so the customer sees one timeline and one point of accountability.

Stage 03

Delivery & reconciliation

Goods delivered, documents reconciled, payments cleared. Every shipment closes with a settled ledger and a recorded audit trail.

Stage 04

Repeat & deepen

Successful flows convert into recurring lanes. Spot deals become contracted programmes. Customers become long-term counterparties.
